SUSTAINABILITY FOR THE MEDIA DO GROUPBASIC ANTI-CORRUPTION POLICY
The MEDIA DO Group (hereinafter “the Group”) is committed to earning the trust of all stakeholders by considering compliance as one of its most important management issues.
Therefore, we promote Group-wide efforts to prevent corruption, which is a major risk factor that can severely undermine society's trust in a company. In addition, we strive to strengthen the effectiveness of the action guidelines in the MEDIA DO Group Basic Compliance Policy and fulfill our social responsibility.
The establishment, revision, or repeal of this policy shall be made by a resolution of the Board of Directors.
1.Scope of Application
This policy applies to all executives, employees, and other personnel of the Group, regardless of the country or region in which the company operates.
We also seek the understanding and cooperation of all business partners involved in the Group's operations.
2.Anti-Corruption
All executives, employees, and other personnel of the Group, whether directly or indirectly, must not engage in, offer, promise, or accept any form of bribery (providing or receiving benefits for the purpose of obtaining improper business advantages), corruption, extortion or embezzlement.
3.Anti-Corruption Initiatives
The Group implements the following initiatives to prevent corruption among all executives, employees, other personnel, and business partners.
Establishment of a Compliance Framework
The Group develops and strengthens its compliance framework by maintaining internal rules necessary to prevent corruption, as well as a whistleblower hotline and regular audits.
Education and Training
The Group regularly informs its executives, employees, and other personnel of this policy and provides them with anti-corruption training.
Accurate Records
The Group prepares and properly maintains accurate accounting records of all transactions to ensure the prevention of corruption and to fulfill its accountability obligations.
